A bit late, and a huge apology, but being on holiday, all the daily ' normality' goes out of the window.

…. that I’m addicted to Liberty, if you haven’t noticed before



It’s just Quality!!!
Put a kid in a Sweet Shop, exactly the same feeling when I go into a shop with Liberty
That’s all I can say

Bread

I have to admit.
It’s a great recipe, full of goodness
Well recommend it
Will have a slice a day, just sliced the whole loaf and put half in the freezer
It’s a great help to my diet
Really pleased with it

Simply in the Kitchen

Let’s change the subject slightly today
After reading this post in Sofia's blog I just couldn’t resist to make this bread
It just looks fantastic, I just have to see the Life changing bit
Well since I’m on this diet, and doing well, why not.
I have to say it was  …..say challenging, to get all the ingredients, but I did
Today I just put it all together, and going to leave it to rest overnight
It definitely looks healthy I have to say, and I can’t wait to try
So today will be the before photo, tomorrow I’ll show you the after

New adventures

I’m one for trying new stuff, I like to experiment new materials
This is my new craze, could be worse. I suppose …..
I’m still waiting for materials to arrive, meanwhile I test the ones that I have already received
What I love about crafts, it’s the variety, I suppose watching the Craft Channel doesn’t really help, but …
Meanwhile I keep practicing



The tags are fun to make, they are from recycled cardboard
Just something else to do, while I’m on my little world
And let me tell you, it’s a lovely place to be

Wonder clips

Finally I got them
When possible I do like, to have an easy life, that’s why I do like gadgets
These clips are fantastic we can sew very close to the needle, and remove them easily because of their flat bottom



Perfect for binding, and as I tried this afternoon a good substitute for pins when sewing

Diary

I did try … I promise.
Put all the dates that I already had for 2014 on the phone, but …..
It just wasn’t the same
So back to the paper one, and couldn’t get any prettier than a Cath Kidston one.
Really pleased with it
A5 is still the perfect size for me

Pattern Cutting Course

As I mention before I decided to take another course
This time, not a work related one
I love to learn, and this just came at the right time.
You see:
I have lots of free time, not!!
Always bored, not!!
Why not just fit one more thing?
Well I have started, there’s no going back now
The material arrived today
Feel like a kid in the beginning of the school year



And the book ….wow…….. let me tell you, it just looks so complicated.
And if you don’t believe me, here’s a sample





After a days work, some soft stuff to end the day in full
Ouch!!!!!
Actually it looks so hard, but we are in it now
And I’m sure I will get the hang of it …. she says !!

Quilt top ready

It has been a busy weekend, and I just managed to finished another Quilt Top.
This one, I used fabrics from Cabbages and Roses which are always very nice
Somehow it reminds me of Laura Ashley
The colours are just nice and soft.





Love the borders
Haven’t decided on the binding yet



I am very pleased with this one
