Eu adoro organizacao, quando vi estas caixas em saldos, numa loja que vai fechar, nem foi preciso pensar duas vezes.

Quem sou? - Who am I?

A autora deste blog é uma pessoa que adora a vida. Uma pessoa que desde muito nova lancou-se á vida e que viajou por este mundo fora.

Uma pessoa positiva, muito organizada e que nao suporta o caos.

Ela é simples, e adora os seus Amigos.

Prefere a qualidade á quantidade.

Aprecia e muito tudo aquilo que a rodeia, e deita-se todas as noites com a consciencia tranquila que fez o melhor que podia durante o dia.

Adora pessoas simples, pessoas sinceras e pessoas sem muitas manias. Nao tem tempo para banalidades, e intrigas.

A sua vida é muito preciosa e tem que ser usada da melhor maneira possivel.

Como é normal nem todos gostam dela, muito directa, nao pretende mudar, o caminho que demorou a chegar a este ponto em que se sente muito completa, foi bastante demorado e muito trabalhoso.

Nao tive uma vida fácil, e tive bastantes obstaculos na vida, mas, cada um deles tornou- a na pessoa que é.

Dia Fora - Day Out

E de vez em quando sabe tao bem, ir para o meio da confusao, e ir para Londres, o dia estava lindo, mas hoje foi dia de ir ver as lojas. Soube bem, e depois da manifestacao de ontem, e dos estragos que causaram, ainda eram visiveis, as tintas e os vidros partidos, pela Regent e Oxford Street.

Para quem gosta de Cath Kidston, recomendo a Uniqlo em Oxford St, junto á Swatch, tem umas t-shirts e umas camisas muito giras e a precos tambem convidativos, portanto se sao fas, nao se esquecam de la passar, pelo montante de pessoas que estavam á volta delas, nao vao lá ficar muito tempo.

E se foram ao John Lewis, entao ai abusam um bocado da marca.

And sometimes it feels good to go to the middle of the confusion, and go to London, what a beautiful day, but today was a day for shopping. It was great, and after yesterday's march, and the damages that they caused, you could still see the paint and the broken shop windows, at Oxford and Regent Street

For all Cath Kidston's fans , I will recommend Uniqlo, in Oxford Street next to the Swatch Shop, they have lovely t -shirts and shirts, and the prices are not too bad either, so if you're a fan, don't forget to go there, judging by the amount of people that were there, I can't see them lasting too long.

And if you go to John Lewis, I think they are over doing on that brand

Finalmente chegou!
Este fim de semana há muitos planos, há muita fotografia para tirar, ha muita coisa para fazer.
Nao quero só ter aqui um blog de Patchwork e costuras, quero-vos tambem trazer fotografia, dicas de organizacao, culinária ( nao que eu seja um ás) longe disso.
Quero-vos trazer um pouco das coisas que me dao prazer no dia a dia.
Quero-vos falar um pouco de mim, portanto quero ter um blog variado, nao fosse eu Gémeos.
Sou uma pessoa alegre, positiva e cheia de vida e quero-vos transmitir isso aqui neste cantinho.
Tenho os melhores Amigos do Mundo, e quem sabe nao ganhe com este cantinho mais alguns?

Finally it has arrived.
This weekend I have lots of plans, lots o photos to take, and lots to do.
I don't want to have just a Patchwork/Sewing blog, I also want to have photography, organisation tips, cooking, as far as my skills go, not that great though.

Tucks and Textures

Este é o meu trabalho de curso, proximo projecto é po-los todos do mesmo tamanho, esta quase lá, aparte daquele jeitoso que está no meio da primeira foto, com aquele acho que me vai dar uma coisinha má, mas isso é outra história.

Neste projecto vou usar a técnica do 'Quilt as you go' digamos que vou fazer as 'sandochas' todas separadas.

Usei essa técnica o ano passado, mas foi assim muito por alto.

Vou adicionar aqui outro material, para ser diferente

E como só tenho licao no fim de Abril, este vai encostar assim um bocado até lá

Hoje é um dia muito bom.
O meu pai comecou a ver a luz ao fundo do tunel.
Estou tao Feliz!!!

Today is a very good day.
My Dad is seeing the light in the end of the tunnel.
I'm so pleased!!!

Sacos - Totes

Este fim de semana foi bastante produtivo, tenho que admitir, experimentei os sacos em linho, pois esta ideia já andava aqui ha muito tempo, por o linho ser um material tao leve tive que 'endurece-lo' com um material apropriado, nao das coisas mais simples de coser, mas com um efeito que estou a gostar muito.

Aqui ficam alguns sacos que já fiz.

This weekend was very productive, I have to admit, I tried linen totes, because that idea has been with me for a while, linen that I have is so soft I had to use some other material to make it harder, I have to admit not the easiest to saw, but I'm very happy with the way that's starting to look.

Quase lá.... Nearly there....

Sou teimosa, sem duvida, porque sou uma pessoa que sei o que quero, e ontem ao chegar a casa, montei o quilt, para ver qual era a melhor maneira.

A professora tinha razao, no seu comentário, e eu claro como nao tenho problemas nenhums em aceitar as ideias dos outros, achei boa a ideia dela, mas falta mais qualquer coisinha, um je ne sais pas quoi, amanha lá terei eu que ir para a loja de Patchwork, pois como devem imaginar um frete, e só mesmo lá, e depois de juntar nao sei quantos tecidos, nao ha nada que bata ve-los ao vivo, aí sim aí tomo uma decisao, e nao tenho absolutamente duvidas que vem sempre mais uns atrás, faz parte da visita, certo?

Veremos ;-)

I'm stubborn, no doubt, because I know what I want, and yesterday when I got home, I set up the quilt, to see how it looked better.

The teacher was right in her comments, and because I have no problems in accepting other suggestions, I thought her idea was good, but there is something missing, don't know what but something missing, tomorrow I will have to make a trip to the Patchwork shop, you can imagine I hate it, not!!, and only there I can make decisions, mixing fabrics with more fabrics.
There's something special, in seeing them and mixing them live, and I have no doubts that a few other fabrics will come home with me, that's all part of the job right?

We will see :-)

Primeiro Quilt - First Quilt

O meu primeiro quilt é Especial, foi feito com as camisas velhas do meu pai.

Adicionei 19 flores que é a data de casamento dos meus pais

Este tem um significado muito Especial por muitas razoes

This one is a very Special One, for many reasons

Adoro-o e para primeiro, acho que nao me saí nada mal.

O primeiro projecto - The first project

E o resultado foi este, mas cedo comecei a perceber que se ía com o Patchwork para a frente, a máquina de costura tinha que ser outra.

Este projecto, continua assim, mais uns quadrados, mas todos 'soltos'. E a professora, em todas as licoes fala nisto

This was the result, but soon I started to realize that I need a new sewing machine if I wanted to carry on with the Patchwork.

This project, is still like this, a few more squares have been added. And the tutor doesn't let me forget it
